Why Study Precept Upon Precept?

Here's a testimony of a student in the Precept Upon Precept Hebrews class who took several other inductive studies prior to Hebrews:

I am really enjoying Hebrews. My favorite part so far was the part where we studied angels. They fascinate me and I don't think I give them enough credit. My other favorite part is when we looked into Jesus's humanity and deity. He became like us in ALL things - even in form - so that He could be a faithful High Priest. He knows exactly what we are going through when we struggle because He went through it too, but He did it perfectly without sin. We have an EXPERT to go to when we are hurting, sick, tired, aching, struggling, confused, rejected, etc. Why go to anyone else? And without Christ being a human man, we would have no payment for our sins! Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for becoming God in the flesh (John 1) and shedding HIs literal blood for us so that we would have a payment for our sins. He sits on the mercy seat of God for us, and I'm so thankful for it!

Leviticus, Exodus, Genesis, Romans, and now Hebrews - God is connecting all of the pieces for me through this study. I've even been given the opportunity to teach a friend how to do inductive study and see fruit growing in him from it! He had the chance to share with a coworker from Romans (we are going through that together) something that we had learned the day before! He's remembering Scripture, understanding it, and using it. The word IS living and active :-D
